The "T-number" is an American institutional linen specification used primarily by US hotel chains, healthcare facilities, and contract linen suppliers. T-200 means 200-thread-count percale (50/50 cotton-polyester blend is common for institutional use); T-250 means 250TC; T-300 means 300TC. The T-specification is distinct from retail thread count marketing - T-spec sheets are graded for durability under commercial laundry cycles, not for luxury marketing. T-200 survives 200+ wash cycles; T-300 is considered a premium institutional specification.
